Our Chorus
The Mayflower regularly invites new people to join its 60-member chorus. We currently have openings in the tenor and soprano sections. Altos, baritones & basses are also welcome to be put on a waiting list. There is no formal audition, but we do ask you to meet and sing for the director so we can determine your vocal range. We also ask that you attend rehearsals regularly and inform our Chorus Administrator of any necessary absences.

Member Requirements
The Mayflower rehearses from 7:15-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights at Studio Fourth Street in San Rafael. We stage shows in May and December at the Showcase Theater in the Marin Civic Center, in addition to a variety of community performances throughout the year. During show week there is a mandatory Monday run-through and Thursday dress rehearsal. Performances are typically Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.
Travel Opportunities
Every three years, The Mayflower travels to an international destination to perform. Recently, we toured in Sicily and New Zealand. We look forward to touring in more locations, both domestically and internationally, in the future.
