Welcome to
Our Chorus
The Mayflower regularly invites new people to join its 60-member chorus. If you are interested in joining, please sign up below. There is no formal audition, but we do ask you to meet and sing for the choral director so we can conduct a basic voice check.

Member Requirements
The Mayflower rehearses from 7:15-9:40 p.m. on Tuesday nights at Studio Fourth Street in San Rafael. Chorus members are expected to pay dues, attend rehearsals regularly and inform our Chorus Administrator of any necessary absences. We stage shows in May and December at the Showcase Theater in the Marin Civic Center, in addition to a variety of community performances throughout the year. During show week there is a mandatory Monday run-through, Tuesday rehearsal with the band and Thursday dress rehearsal. Performances are typically Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.
Travel Opportunities
Every three years, The Mayflower travels to an international destination to perform. Recently, we toured in Sicily and New Zealand. We look forward to touring in more locations, both domestically and internationally, in the future.
Mayflower Choral Society strongly believes that all people - regardless of race, gender, religion, disability, sexual identity or orientation - should be treated fairly and with equal justice. Racism and discrimination will not be tolerated. We support a peaceful evolution towards a more just and egalitarian society.
