About Us
Our chorus of over 45 volunteer singers consists of  mainly Marin residents. Retaining its fun-loving personality through 33 years of performances and special events in Marin and beyond, it’s the evolved version of the singing group that formed at San Rafael’s Mayflower Inne in the 1970s.
The Mayflower Chorus is the performing ensemble of the Mayflower Choral Society, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting the educational and cultural benefits of musical performance to its members, the Marin community, and to you our audience.  The Chorus operates two seasons during the year—Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter— with each season culminating in a professional quality show.  No formal auditions are required to sing with the group, just a desire to learn, work hard and have a great time performing a diverse mix of traditional, contemporary and original music.
